Cryolyposis fat freezing treatment

Cryolipolysis, commonly referred to as fat freezing, is a nonsurgical fat reduction procedure that uses cold temperature to reduce fat deposits in certain areas of the body. The procedure is designed to reduce localized fat deposits or bulges that do not respond to diet and exercise. It is not intended for people with obesity. The technique has been patented under the name CoolSculpting.

Cryolyposis fat freezing treatment

A non-invasive way to safely and effectively eliminate stubborn pockets of fat!

$150/handle for each body part.

The ideal client for this procedure would be anyone with pinchable fat. Bulges of fat such as fat on the love handles, back fat, chin fat (double chin), bra fat, outer thighs, abdomen and upper arms are often hard to get rid of with diet and exercise. Some would describe these areas as “hard to treat fat” even with vigorous diet and exercise. CoolSculpting technology safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen). Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and reduces fat cells, leaving a more sculpted you. This process is call Cryolipolysis®. Cryolipolysis means reducing fat cells with the use of freezing, hence the term “freeze fat away” by freezing fat cells to the point of reduction without damaging any surrounding tissues such as nerves, skin and muscle.

How is cryolipolysis performed?

The size and shape of the fatty deposit is assessed and the area to be treated is outlined with a skin-marking pencil. Patients are awake during the procedure.
A handheld device called an applicator is used to freeze the layer of fat cells (adipocytes) underneath the skin. First, a gel pad is applied to the area to protect the skin. Next, the fatty bulge is suctioned or vacuumed into the applicator’s hallow opening. You will feel a tugging or pulling sensation as suction is applied. These sensations, intense cold plus other possible sensations – tingling, stinging, aching, cramping – lessen after 5 to 10 minutes as the area becomes numb during the cooling down process. The fat layer is gradually cooled to the target temperature of between 30.2 and 39.2 degrees Fahrenheit.

What side effects are to be expected immediately after cryolipolysis?

Temporary side effects for the areas that are treated may include:

  • Pain or aches
  • Stinging or tingling of the skin
  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Skin discoloration or bruising
  • Skin sensitivity or numbness

Side effects may persist for a few days to a few weeks after treatment. Your doctor may recommend that you take an analgesic medication to relieve pain or other discomfort.

Result

You will see noticeable results between one and three months after your first treatment session. The fat cells are slowly removed from the body, and it may take as many as four to six months after your final treatment to see the results of your treatment.
